Description

How do you depict a city? There are many different ways, whether via history, fame, population or even attractions, but how is it possible to identify individual geographical areas specifically?  Street addresses help, but often they are duplicated in different areas. What happens if a missive ends up in the wrong district or even the wrong city? Here is where these identification markers are still being used.

These postcodes are the basis fro creating a unique fine art photography work that doubles as a guidebook. Taking the viewer on a tour of London and its neighbouring towns, the city is depicted via 3D three-dimensional views of each postcode district. Sometimes these stereographic images are of well-know locations and other times places that even the locals aren’t aware exist.  The book comes complete with red-cyan glasses that enable viewers to enter the city’s different postcode areas virtually, allowing the wearers to feel almost as if they were actually there.
