Description
Imagine being able to take off on a year-long road trip within a motor home – or at least, being able to engage, in pictures and words, with someone else’s journey.
This book is an illustrated account of travelling around the United States in such a manner – but here’s something new. Although the pictures are interesting in their own right, all the images can be viewed in 3D (red-cyan anaglyph) in order to better share the experience. Chronicled in stereoscopic three-dimensional imagery, with the aid of the included 3D glasses each location seems to become real. Beginning in California, the excursion heads southeast, winters in Florida, drives up the Atlantic coast, turns northwest along the Canadian border and finally finishes along the Pacific Coast. The circle is completed by returning to the point of origin in Los Angeles. Accompanied by vivid text describing each region in words, readers – and viewers – can feel almost as if they’re in each place themselves, participating in the trip with every new destination.
